Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! Donations are tax deductible.  We can provide a receipt upon request.

  • Outside of fostering a dog or making a donation, the most powerful thing you can do is follow our Facebook Page.

    From there, you can:

    • Share our adoptable pups!

    • Keep an eye out for transport requests. (We often need doggie “Ubers” for vet visits, etc.)

    • Volunteer at our in-person events. (We typically have 2 big Houston events annually.)

    • Spread the word about CLMR and rescue dogs.

  • Yes! We accept the following supplies:

    • Food (the brands we use are on our Chewy and Amazon wish lists)

    • High quality treats (no rawhide, please)

    • New or gently used toys

    • Clean, gently used towels and flat sheets
      Note: occasionally, we have an abundance of these and are not in need (as we have limited storage space).

    • Dog kennels in good condition

    • Paper towels

    • Disinfectant wipes

    • Clean, gently used or new dog beds and crate mats
